Answer #1

Another name for tradition is culture. Tradition is part of carrying on rituals that were deemed of importance from long ago. But the more we advance as a race , the more we break from original traditions and in so doing recreate traditions to fit our modern time. Example- Years ago transgender marriage was not recognized as a legal due to the traditional sense of marriage. Now it is recognized in our society.

Following are the point which supports the importance of tradition in modern life -

1. Tradition contributes a sense of comfort and belonging. It brings families together and enables people to reconnect with friends.

2.Tradition reinforces values such as freedom, faith, integrity, a good education, personal responsibility, a strong work ethic, and the value of being selfless.

3.Tradition provides a forum to showcase role models and celebrate the things that really matter in life.

4.Tradition offers a chance to say “thank you” for the contribution that someone has made.

Texans really are open and friendly. They say hello to strangers on the street, they speak to each other in line at the grocery store, they’ll notice and ask if you need help, they’ll help you change a tire, they wave to one another on the highway, and they do all those things without a hidden agenda. Culture, tradition and customs plays an important role for a civilization and character of its citizens and society. It helps in striking the balance with mother nature, conservation of natural resources and respecting each other. Traditional American culture adheres to the founding principles imbedded in our initial documents, the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. Principally, Americans believe in equality under the law, equality of opportunity and supremacy of the individual.
