The topic for this week is evidence-based public health. Think about public health successes or current public health problems. Describe the "PERIE" process for a public health problem of your choosing (PERIE=problem, etiology, recommendations, implementation, evaluation). If your public health issue is currently happening, discuss your recommendations for how to solve the problem. Feel free to add in a link/short video to give background on the public health problem. Other discussion points to think about: (for your first post and when responding to other students) What are the contributory causes of the problem? What methods for implementation were utilized as part of the implementation process? Examine the implementation method using the "when-who-how" approach Did the evaluation demonstrate whether the implementation was successful?
