1. Aseptic techniques- Sterilization of the wire loops and inoculating instruments before inoculation, Sterilization of the mouth of the tube every time opening the tube using a bunsen burner, Always kept the airflow on and sterilize the hood before use.

2. It is always easy to identify the contamination in a solid medium than a liquid medium because in solid medium you can easily distinguish the desired colonies and the contamination separately most of the time the contamination grows out of the streak line.
