Nutrition plays an very important role in heath and healing. The proteins are known as wound healers and other nutrients which are micro to maintain hydration of skin including the subcutaneous tissue. When the individual is not supplied with adequate nutrition it affects the entire process for example when protein is not present the energy breakdown is delayed and wound healing is affected. It also reduces the water content which is prone to have dehydration whereby integrity of skin is not maintained and when protein is less decreases the development of collagen too making slower wound healing and prone to have impaired skin integrity.

Thus nutrition plays a very important role in an individuals life holistically to maintain the haemostasis.
