Heart disease refers to any issues or deformities related to the heart. This is the cause of 31% of all deaths worldwide. Common hear diseases include coronary artery disease, hypertension and cardiac arrest. The associated factors divided into two modifiable and non- modifiable. Modifiable factors are smoking, alcohol consumption, lack of exercise, overweight,high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, physical inactivity. Non-modifiable factors include family history of heart disease, increased age, ethnic background and gender (men at greater risk).
