Answer #1

Here I am selecting the concepts such as :

*Health literacy and health promotion

Health literacy is the degree to which individuals have the capacity to obtain, process, and understand basic health information and services needed to make appropriate health decisions

We can say health literacy as a population strategy for health promotion.

Poor health literacy has been consistently associated with adverse health outcomes

Health literacy can be improved through effective communication and education.

For improving health literacy requires more than the transmission of new information, it involves the development of empowering personal skills that enable participation in a range of actions that can protect and improve health.

Through effective communication and active education will have the goal of promoting greater independence in health decision-making.

Thus we can say that an organized education is the main process to improve the literacy in populations.

The organized and structured health education will improve health literacy in individuals and population.

Health education is most likely to improve health literacy.

Health promotion outcomes represent those personal, social and structural factors that can be modified in order to change the determinants of health.

Through health literacy, we can improve the health-related knowledge, attitude, motivation, behavioral intentions, personal skills, and self-efficacy

Thus we can improve the lifestyle skills thus reduced disability, morbidity, and mortality to some extent.

*Health promotion communication interventions invariably raise different types of ethical issues.

*They pose dilemmas and ethical concerns on each level of the intervention.

The main ethical issue and challenge for health promotion are the population cultural beliefs and customs. The health promotion incorporates cultural values, symbols, and themes into health messages, which can reflect cultural sensitivity and serve as a way to encourage the adoption of the health recommendations in question.

The health promotion interventions may aim to promote behaviours or attitudes that contradict certain cultural values or be viewed by members of this group as offensive.

Ethical frameworks and stipulations can be used to identify and debate ethical issues and find ways to address them.

It is important to identify ethical issues, especially in goals that appear to be most important or strategies that are considered the most effective

It is important to be able to consider adverse consequences over the individual cultural and social levels from the health literacy for health promotion.

This requires a systematic ethical analysis to consider the values and requires scrutiny of health promotion messages for ethical issues, which should become a routine part of health promotion activities
