Total no. of Crimes in a week from Monday to Sunday is equal to 21+10+13+16+25+29+26 = 140

Here, the Null hypothesis for the goodness of fit can be defined as,

H0: Expected number of crimes reported at a police station on each day = 140/7=20.

Expected number of crimes reported on Thursday = 20 (same for each day in a week)
