SOLUTION :   signs and symptoms of perfusion:   ​​​​​​1.Mood swings and changes in mental state. 2.Trouble swallingings. 3.Weakness in the extremities(arms & legs) 4.Partial paralysis, often one side of the body. 5.Irregular blood presure 6.Abnormal breathing. 7. Restlessness. CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Perfusion is the blood flow at the capillary level im tissue.Perfusion specifies the amount of blood reaching the tissue of intrest and is measured in units of ml/ 100g-min. 2.Perfusion is the means by which blood provides nutrients and removes cellular waste. 3.Adequate tissue perfusion when supply meets demand is necessary to maintain a healthy vital tissue. 4.Insufficient perfusion(ischemia) when demand exceeds supply induces an oxygen debt and causes build up of toxic cellular waste, stressing the vitality of the tissue. Untreated ishemia leads to cellular dysfunction, loss of function, and even cellular death. 5.Excessive perfusion when supply exceeds demand is frequently associate with formation of edema in associated tissue. 6.Real time minitoring of perfusion provide immediate, actionable information. 7.Early detection of ischemia enables early intervention and the opportunity to improve patient outcomes.
