Joci is considering going on a new diet that emphasizes eating only fruits before noon, meat at lunchtime, and starch and vegetables at dinner.  

In addition, the diet recommends "cleansing" the intestines with laxatives and enemas every other week.  

What reasons would you give Joci to steer clear of this regimen? What are some possible harmful effects?

Following a low carbohydrate diet is a powerful and productive mean of approaching a healthy eating and weight loss. Further it helps to reduce and improve many conditions like diabetes, hypertension and heart diseases. Knowing what foods to eat is crucial. It is important for an individual to take a normal breakfast in morning instead of fruits which can do better at night time.

REASONS: a) Plenty of water should be added in diet plan to avoid constipation. b) A healthy diet paln should be rich in vegetables, fruits, vegetarian protein sources and healthy fats. This will keep an individual to feel full throughout the day and reduces the chances of overeating. c) In view to reduce the use of laxatives, individual can increase the daily activity along with the diet plan to improve the peristalsis movement. d) instead of paying attention to meals, focus more on the feelings of hunger and fullness.

HARM EFFECTS: Daily intake of nutrient foods is effective for improving the body mechanism. a) The use of laxatives agents may leads to no peristalsis movement which in turn leads to constipation. b) Due to lack of supplies in the diet plan, the individual feel hunger which leads to overeating in between the meals. c) less nutrients intake.
