Answer #1

Solution-

The equation can be written as:

Pb2+(aq) + 2 Cl-(aq) ------> PbCl2(s)

The moles of Pb2+ = moles of Pb(NO3)2 = volume * molarity of Pb(NO3)2

= (23.52/1000)* 0.6250 =0.0147 mol

The moles of Cl- = 2 x moles of Pb2+

= 2 *0.0147

= 0.0294 mol

Now the molarity of Cl- = moles of Cl-/volume of Cl- in L

= 0.0294/0.02500

= 1.176 M
