Ratios to be calculated are as follows-
1. Patient Per Day
2.Patient per Room Per day or Per bed
3. Patient per Operation
4. Medicine Per Patient
5. Food Per doctor and per Patient
All the Accumulated costs should be classified under three heads
1. Fixed Costs - Do not Change irrespective of level of output Eg- Rent .
2. Variable Costs- Change with respect of level of output- Eg wages.
3. Semi Variable Costs- Consist of fixed and variable cost. Method use to calculate is High low method
Operating cost per unit = Total Operating cost / Total units of Service
Note - Depend on the availability of data ratios will differ.
