when three identical resistors are connected in parallel then voltage drop across each resistor is same in parallel combination of resistors so V = (3I)(R/3) so current in each resistor increases to 3 I

current through R1 = 0 if R2 is replaced by plane wire as circuit is short and effective resistance is 0 so current does not flow through R1 if R2 is replaced by wire.
