Answer #1

(a) Reaction :-

Zn(s) + HCl(aq) -----> ZnCl2(aq) + H2(g)

(b) Balanced equation

Zn(s) + 2HCl(aq) ------> ZnCl2(aq) + H2(g)

1.0 mol of Zn reacts with 2.0 mol of HCl produces 1.0 mol of ZnCl2 and 1.0 mol of H2 gas.

(c) Since Cl from HCl is binding with Zn only so it is single replacement reaction.
