Medical information are highly confidential and to be protected from being misused .To get the medical information to be released a medical release form has to be signed by the concerned patient called as authorization. This is also termed to be patient authorisation.

The story of an hour describes a wife's reactions towards the death of her husband in a railroad accident.

She comes to hear the death of her husband from her sister Josephine through Richard. She sobers, weeps ,unable to control her emotions, her heart beats faster, feeling their past life together ,and thinking how she will react to the corpse of her husband. She is also thinking of the life ahead independently without any oppression from her soulmate. As she comes downstairs, she sees the door opening and the entry of her husband alive.Being an heart patient she goes into shock out of happiness and dies in no time. When she was taken for a medical help she was declared death due to heart attack.

This story has a controversy on a women being pessimistic, thinking of self ,not respecting the love and care if her husband all the years from one side, but it also stresses the importance that a heart patient has to be informed things carefully sother it is a happy news or about a loss.
