Option (D) The maximum kinetic energy of photoelectrons has linear relationship with the frequency for each wavelength present.

when the light of the sufficient frequency incident on surface of metal there is an ejection of electrons . This phenomenon is photoelectric effect. The maximum kinetic energy of ejected electrons is related with frequency of incident light as

K_{max}= h\nu- \phi Where phi (\phi)is called the work function of metal. If you increase the intensity of incident light ( number of photons per unit area per unit time increases) large no. Of electrons interact with photons. So no of ejected electrons called photoelectrons will be more.
