Lattice energy is positive.

Heat of hydration is negative.

And, the heat of solution is lattice energy plus heat of hydration.

So, A is lattice energy

B is heat of hydration.

C is heat of solution.

As C positive, so the heat of solution is endothermic.

As the heat of solution is positive, so the ionic compound will dissolve only if the entropy change overcomes the enthalpy cost.

Because

deltaG = deltaH - T x deltaS

So, the third and the last statements are correct.
