The main functionalist perspective, the differences in wealth, power within the soual . Structure are justice, because they motivate the most qualified people to exercise their talents in 'most important jobs. The society is unequally structured and the reason is that people's inherent in-equality in functiona importáncé. According to conflict theory capitalist economic competition unfairly privileges the rich, who have power to perpetrate an unfair system that works to their advantage.

The social stratification can be explained as the society's categorization of its people such as on the basis of socioeconomic factors. for example wealth, income, gender etc. The two types includes Open & clored Systems, In the case of open system, the people can. change their status with relative ease. The closed system is one in which the people have major difficulty in changing their status.

The open system are those people who can afford easily. For example such as people with high society can make much more high status. But in the case of closed system, people living in the poverty becomes unable to sustain.
