Answer: Alcohol consumption causes various adverse effects on the mental as well as physical health. Some of the preventive methods that can reduce th alcohol consumption as:

1. Taxes
2. Time restrictions
3. Age restrictions

Imposing tax on the alcohol can reduce alcohol consumption rate. Alcohol consumption causes excessive adverse effects. So taxes can causes people to think before spend on alcohol.

The second preventive methods that can be used to control the alcohol consumption as age restrictions. The excessive alcohol consumption increases the risk of accidents, death, chronic disease etc. Young generations are found to be more indulge in this kind of activities. So age restrictions can prevent many deaths and diseases.

Restricting sponsorship from alcohol industry can also be found to be useful in preventing alcohol consumption. This will cause less people to be aware about the alcohol and there will be no wish for alcohol consumption.
