Question
Please tell me if these workings are correct? If not, could you please help me correct my mistakes. Im not sure if I need to subtract the atmospheric pressure - and if I have to, I cant understand how to calculate it with what ive been given.

Answer #1

Correcting by stages:

1) Mg-H2 Moles: Correct calculations.

2) Gas pressure: Incorrect, it is calculated:

P gas = Final P - Initial P = (109.86 - 101.21) Kpa * (1 bar / 100 Kpa) = 0.0865 bar

Trial 2 = 0.0705 bar

If you liked the answer, please rate it in a positive way, you would help me a lot, thank you.
