Answer #1

Solution) m = 80 kg

h = 4 m

V = 30 m/s

Theeta = 24°

(a) Peak height , Hmax = ?

Hmax =  ( Vsin(theeta))^2/(2g)

Hmax = (30sin(24))^2/(2×9.8)

Hmax = 7.6 m

(b) Range , R = ?

R = ((V^2)(sin(2theeta))/(g)

R = ((30^2)sin(2×24))/(9.8)

R = 68.2 m
