Please help answer these question
1. Perfusion is the term used to indicate blood supply to tissues so that organs can get oxygen at cellular level to generate energy to carry out various functions. Impaired perfusion indicates that there is compromised blood supply. There may be various reasons for that like inadequate blood volume, fluid volume deficit, cerebral, cardiovascular reasons.
so in case of fluid volume deficit is the reason, intravenous fluid therapy can be administered or blood transfusion or fresh frozen plasma in case of decreased blood volume
2. way to detect impaired perfusion is to check capillary refill time. If it is more than 2 seconds, then there is impaired perfusion
3. complication in fluid resuscitation
fluid resuscitation is administration of fluid in patient with fluid deficit. The complication related to that can be pulmonary edema in which there will be accumulation of fluid in lungs that impair normal exchange of gases and lead to respiratory symptoms.
