5 types of feasibility that must be considered throughout the system development life cycle are:

1)Technical Feasibility::: Under this study, the existing computer systems (hardware and software) of the concerned department are identified by the analysts and determines whether these technical resources are sufficient for the proposed system or not. If they are found insufficient, the analyst suggests the configuration of the computer systems that are required.

2)Economic Feasibility::: It is the most significant study that determines the cost and benefits of the proposed system and compares with the budget. The project's cost shouldn't outweigh the budget. The cost of the project should include the cost of hardware, software, development and implementation.

3)Operational Feasibility:::When it is ensured that the project is both economic and technical feasible, the next step is to determine its operational feasibility . Under operational feasibility study, it is determined whether the system will operate in the way that user wants. Operational feasibility requires human resources for the development and implementation of the system.

4)Social Feasibility: Itis the determination of whether a proposed project will be acceptable to the public or not. This examines the probability of the project being accepted by the group directly affected by the proposed change in system .

5)Management feasibility::: Management feasibility is the determination of whether a proposed project is acceptable to the management. If management does not grant acceptance or gives a negligible support to the project , the analyst will tend to view the project as a non-feasible one.
