Answer #1

Technology in nursing resulted in improved patient care.Health informatic nurses are responsible for managing, interpreting and communicating the data that comes in and out of health care facilities. The advancement of technology in the health care field resulted in more accurate documentation.it also helps in reducing medication errors, costs and improved co-ordination of care.

It helps in improved efficiency with tasks in the clinical setting, such a scheduling, data collection and entering to overall improve patient care.It also helps in preventing medical errors therefore making EHR health care safer. But there also risks associated with the use of technology such as data breaches of patient information and increasing demand of data.

Redundancy plan include inclusion of extra components not necessry for normal functioning, existing incase of primary component failures.it should include all parts of care and operations. Therefore it is necessry that all helth care facilities hould have one because anything can happen at anytime/prepare for the unexpected.
