Answer #1

1. In my opinion, it is unethical to use customer information across multiple divisions of the same company because customer's information is confidential and can be used for unethical purposes by someone. As customer trusts us and provides the required information as we demanded, we should continue their trust. Company is solely responsible for any loss of information.

2. Tools of portfolio matrix are based on market growth rate & Relative Market share. This matrix helps us to understand that we should expand our business, continue with same activities of business or disinvest in the same business. In my opinion, if a company does not use Portfolio Matrix as a planning tool , company can be successful by using other strategic planning tools such as porter's 5 forces model, swot analysis, PESTLE analysis, etc.

3. Course in marketing helps us to create our own image in public. By this course, we become image sensitive, our communication skills are improved and we can stay ahead of all in this competitive environment. In my opinion , if we do not pursue marketing as a career, but have done maketing course, it will help us everytime.
