ABI is the major reason for illness and death in canada of patients under 40 years. Around 1.5 million individual are luving with ABI. This count is more than the HIV, breast cancer, multiple sclerosis etc. This category doesnt include the congenital injury to brain.
There are 2 types such as
Non traumatic ABI like hemoragic stroke, ischemic stroke, aneurysm etc
Traumatic ABI like accidents, gun shotinjury, sports injury etc
