Answer #1

Answer: The blood brain barrier is a kind of selective semipermeable that separates the brain from circulating blood as well as the extracellular fluid that is present in Central nervous system.

The pathophysiology of the Parkinson's disease includes the damage to the dopaminergic neurons which causes abnormalities in the normal functioning and activities of the brain.

The mechanism of action of the dopaminergic medications to treat parkinson's disease as the anticholinergics are used. This includes the action as anticholinergics blocks the acetylcholine which is a kind of neurotransmitter involves in sending messages from brain to muscles.

Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder which cause the behavioral and cognitive impairment that causes problem with the normal functioning.

(2 points) a) Parkinson’s disease b) Alzheimer’s disease c) ALS In your continued work at BigPharma, you are running additional experiments with previously developed, FDA approved drugs to see if they can be used off-label to assist with the treatment of neurodegenerative disorders. Originally, NeuroStop was developed to attenuate brain damage following stroke, and thus might be a good candidate drug for helping slow neurodegeneration. Presented here are data...
