There are situations each of us are faced within the clinical setting; where ethics and nursing standards are questioned when being asked to do something that may not be within a nurse's scope of practice. How do you make sure you are placing your values and integrity first before making a decision whether to do something questionable or not?

Answer: Nurses plays an important role in patient's life. Patient has trust on nurse and they share their experiences, pain etc with the nurse. A nurse should always think about the patient first. Sometimes there is a conflict between the duty and the ethical issues, but we should always consider the ethical values.

For me if the moral values are being adjusted, then I dndon do that work. Moral values should be the first preference for any kind of work. Because it consists of all the basic principles which includes the benefits of the others. In nursing profession one must think about the patient first. Doing things which are morally correct will always lead to better outcome and makes you feel better from inside.
