A eurobonds (also called as external bonds) is denominated in a currency other than the home currency of the country in which it is issued. They usually have small par value and high liquidity. It provide the issuer with the ability to choose the country of issuance.

Here the bonds are issued in Singapore. But they are denominated in USD. So they are named as Eurodollar. That is eurobonds are named after the currency in which they are denominated. That is if they are denominated in JPY, named as Euroyen
