1. Ineffective airway clearance related to tracheobronchial obstruction, airway spasm, cardiac or pulmonary disease as evidenced by abnormal breath sounds, dyspnea /apnea, hypercapnia , hypoxemia etc

2. Impaired gas exchange related to ventilation perfusion mismatch as evidenced by hypercapnia, abnormal ABG values and abnormal breathing

3.Ineffective breathing pattern related to altered O2 - CO2 ratio, decreased lung expansion as evidenced by changes in respiratory rate and depth, decreased Po2 and Sao2, increased Pco2, dyspnea, noisy respirations etc

4. Decreased cardiac output related to decreased oxygenation as evidenced by dyspnea, tachypnea, dysrhythmias, changes in LOC etc
