In this week's Discussion, it's time to narrow down the top three areas where you plan to market your product. If you are including Social Media, that will account for one area. This Discussion will take a little outside research as I want you to include any costs associated with your plan. For example, if you plan on using radio (which may or may not be a good idea for your specific product), research the cost to have a spot on one radio station. I do not expect you to do an extensive plan. The idea for this week is so you will get a better understanding of what it takes financially to market your product. As many of you will have different ideas, all students will be able to take advantage of the body of research. Be sure to name the specific target of your marketing, e.g., name and call letters of the radio station!

PLEASE be realistic. Where you decide to market your product will also depend on what you believe will be your access to the funds necessary to do so.

Each area should be in a separate paragraph, clearly headed by the medium you are using, followed by an explanation of why you selected that particular medium and how it relates to your target market.

This means you will have at least three separate paragraphs in your initial post. Each paragraph should have at least 50 words. ( product can be bamboo staws market or whatever you choose)

The product that i would like to advertise is deodorant.

The three mediums i would use are

a) TV ads: This is a regular advertising medium which can be used to market the product. The cost associated with it will be very high but also it helps us to reach to the maximum people in a particular region. This can be a traditional way of advertising but this is the most efficient way because first major hurdle during product launch is making people aware that our product exisits.

b) Social Media platforms: we can run some quiz or events and market it on social media platform. Some events can be organized with a brand ambassador being the chief guest. Winner of quiz can be given an opportunity to meet the guest. Quiz can be related to company various products and different fragnances that company sells.

c) Use of product in Railway stations and Bus stations: give people a sample of it and make them enjoy the fragance durinh their travel. This makes them understand how good is the product and how their journey has been. The cost incurred would be way less and it can be a new way of launching a product. The reach can be low but all individuals get ti to feel the product.
