Technology has become a large part of most of our worlds. We are all plugged into everything that is going on in the world from news, to music, to our patient portals of our health care facility’s EHR. We have apps and access and multiple ways that we can now access our medical records.

The demand for this digital health information is driven by many factors, such as increasing healthcare costs, policy changes to promote safer, higher-quality healthcare, and consumer interest.

In your opinion, is this access to digital health beneficial or detrimental to patients? Also, take into consideration those patients with limited health literacy, does this change your opinion of this access? Support your reasoning.
