Knowing what we know about drug use and harm—specifically that legal drugs kill vastly more users than illegal drugs: 1. Explain the disjunction between the volume of media attention paid to the latter [illegal] versus the former [legal], discussing this matter objectively rather than moralistically. 2. What makes death as a result of use of an illicit drug more newsworthy than death as a result of an illegal drug?

1. According to me, the media attention is paid more towards the illegal drugs than the legal drugs beacuse of the reason which is already visible from the difference between illegal and legal drugs . Mortality and the adverse effects due to the usuage of illegal drugs is more and hence attention is also paid more to it .

2. The death as a result of use of an illicit drug is more newsworthy than death as a result of an illegal drug because illegal means which is against the laws and rules so, death from illegal use of drug is not given worth ,while deaths from legal drugs are given worth because in that we need to know about the reason behind death from the correct usuage of drugs .
