Answer: In mental health issues pateint needs more care as it also depends upon the level of the mental health issues. Sometimes people are mentally ill but they wont know about it, the only symptoms occurs such as irritation, sarcasm, rudeness etc. Many people are totally retarded such as they are unable to think or act properly. The healthcare providers manage mentally ill patients as they take primary care by talking to them and noticing them and preventing them from harming themselves and providing them better health care such as cleanliness, relief from pain if any, having meals on time, medications etc. Psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals identify and manage priority conditions such as depression, psychosis, bipolar disorders, epilepsy, developmental and behavioral disorders. People does not give more importance to the patients who are mentally ill, sometimes they do not treat them well. As a healthcare professional taking care of the mentally ill patient is our duty and we should engage ourselves to take care of these kinds of patients because they are one who needs more love, care and affections.
