6. Protein combination is the strategy to provide complete biological value of protein to the individual. Incomplete proteins are found in plant foods. Complete proteins are those which have sufficient amount of all amino acids. Limiting amino acids are found in small amount in incomplete proteins. Mutual supplementation is the strategy to combine two incomplete foods to make a complete meal containing all essential amino acids.

Answer: mutual supplementation

15. During protein synthesis, mRNA carries the information for sequence of new protein. tRNA carries the amino acids to mRNA to combine them in the gene specified order with the help of enzyme.

Answer: the new protein is deaminated and excreted from the body.

20. Proteins are used for growth and repair of the tissues and for transportation of lipids through lipoproteins. Proteins like globulin and albumin are used to maintain fluid balance of the body.

Answer: regulation of heart rate

35. In case of limited carbohydrates and fats in the diet, proteins are used for energy, body lose its fat and lean body tissue. But glucose is stored as glycogen when amount of glucose is sufficient in the blood. When there is deficiency of glucose in the body, glycogen breaks down into glucose to provide immediate energy.
