Requirements for High Reliability ----please name the healthcare organization and its background.

1. Assess the health organization in which you work or one with which you are familiar

2. and describe how staffing and scheduling processes in particular make your organization a high-reliability organization.

3. Then, evaluate any areas that may need improvement, and recommend steps for improvement.

4. In your evaluation and recommendation, consider the requirements and standards in becoming a highly reliable organization.

5. Do these standards hinder or improve the quality of care? Justify your rationale.

Becoming and sustaining the ability to be a highly reliable organisation has developed into a crucial focus not only for the patient care but also the regulatory agencies and managed care organisations. Depending on the organisation state of readiness, meeting the high quality of reliability can be a challenging transition.

When considering the reliability of any organisation it is the ability of that organisation to provide the best comprehensive care with the probable tools implemented.

1. The organisation which I work is reliable as it's best awarded with JcI accredited and NABH which is being evaluated as the best for its technology and staff team work which improves its reliability in general.

2. Staffing is very important in any organisation to have harmony in the workplace. In my organisation staffing group patterns and scheduling process is exact as it makes to have more patient satisfaction.

The collaboration among the team members makes my organisation to have the best diversity at workplace too which in turn helps to provide the comprehensive care to the patient in the best interest of the client with dignity, safety, professionalism and trust.

3. The area which needs to be improved is the induction training given to the staffs regarding usage of any devices or tools is once only. The ways to improve are :

# provide the training and demonstrate how to use

# delegate the function of tools by staffs

# supervision directly until they become competent in using it

# follow up with an evaluation to know their performing skills.

4. In my evaluation and recommendations the requirements and standards in becoming a highly reliable organisation is that

# team work

# staff patient ratio

# high technological tools for treatment

# more comprehensive treatment involving the collaboration

# having best evidence based practices

# evaluation by patients feed back

# staffs sharing of experience and knowledge.

5. The above standards will definitely improve the quality of care as we know that when we verbalise holistic or comprehensive care it means to have the patient at center and satisfying and treating his physical, social mental wellbeing.
