Ans) Quality improvement is vital to nursing practice and health care in general. As nurses, it isimportant that you are practicing safely and patient safety is always a priority. However, errors dooccur.

- Hood (2014) claimed that "nurses today care for more acutely ill clients than in the past, requiring nurses to be able to change their thinking rapidly, keep a mental list of multiple tasks to , document all care activities, and supervise unlicensed care providers.

- Even when working under a lot of pressure, nurses promote patient safety through a better education and following hospital policies as close as possible. During the shifts, the bestoption that nurses have to promote patient safety is with safety rounds that maintain qualitycontrol and help to identify any problem.
