2. Given a study about drug adherence, how would you find the cost-effectiveness of a drug or method of dosage?
3. Who is the Librarian for the College of Health?
Measures of central tendency.
It is also called as central location. It is a value which describes the setsof dats by identifying the centrat position of the data.
There are three measures of central tendency.
Mean,medium and mode.
Mean.
This is used for continuous data which is the arthematic average.
Medium.
This is used for ordinary or continuous data in which the data is split into two halves where one is larger and other is smaller.
Mode.
This is used for categorical data in which the data is more seen in this category than other.

Given a study about drug adherence, how would you find the cost-effectiveness of a drug or method of dosage?
1)What are the strengths and limitations of the range? 2)Can the measures of central tendency and the measures of spread be used together to describe a set of scores? If so, how? 3) How are the standard deviation and the variance similar ? how are they different ?
Describe the primary types of measures of central tendency and variability used in quantitative research. How can these be used to test statistical hypotheses?
How do you know which measure of central tendency is appropriate? How are the measures of central tendency found using SPSS?
Thanks HE RESEARCHER H3 MEASURES OF CENTRAL TENDENCY 85 The Typical American Is there such a thing as a "typical" American? In this of the average American based on measures of central tendency chosen by you from the 2012 General Social Survey (GS$2012. Choose variables that you think are the most important in defining what it means to be a member of this soch ety and then choose an appropriate measure of central tendency for each variable. Use this information...
Below is are the measures of central tendency and dispersion for the number of victims killed in mass killing events. Using the information below, answer the following questions. Would you say that the data is skewed? Why or why not? What is the range of for number of victims killing in a mass killing? At what number of victims does 95% of the distribution cover? Practice problems 2 – Central Tendency 1. Here is a random sample of seven rents ($) from the data collected. (In case you are wondering, I used a computer to generate random samples). $0.00 $600.00 $650.00 $650.00 $1000.00 $570.00 $0.00 a) Calculate the average rent of this random sample. b) What is the median of this random sample? What are the mean, median, and mode of the following distributions? Which measure of central tendency best reflects each distribution and why?...
(b) Which measures of central tendency are preferred for each variable? Why? (Hint:Use frequency histogram) (c) Find the sample variance, standard deviation, and range for each variable. (d) Describe the logical population and sample for this study. (There can be different reasonable answers with respect to the population. The measures of central tendency have been reported for three different social service agencies for the variable number of years employed in the agency as follows: Agency Mode Median Mean A 16 17 16 B 4 7 10 C 1 3 6 Use the measures of central tendency to describe and compare the staff of the three agencies. (5 pts) 7. Fifteen students were registered in Section 1 and 15 students were registered in Section 2 of a research course....
