Hyperkalemia is a condition in which ones blood consists of high level of electrolyte pottasium.

If there is high levels of pottasium in the body it leads to severe change of heart rhythm.

Pottasium controls the activity of muscle of heart and skeleton muscle if it is high in level it cases abnormal heart rhythm.

So yes hyperkalemia affects teh blood pressure.
