Answer #1

Like dissolves Like principle used in the solubilty i.e non polar compounds are soluble in non polar solvents and polar compounds are soluble in polar solvents

A) C6H12 = which is called as hydrocarbon i.e cyclohexane and it is non polar so it is soluble in CCl4

B) Cu(NO3)2 = which is ionic compound and it is soluble in polar solvents and not soluble in non polar solvents

C) Br2 = it is non polar and it is dissolved in soluble in CCl4

D) C3H8 = which is called as hydrocarbon i.e propane and it is non polar so it is soluble in CCl4

E) I2 = it is non polar and it is dissolved in soluble in CCl4

answer => B is not soluble i.e immiscible in CCl4
