We need to find the effect of height on weight for a sample of 8 children. To find the effect let us fit a regression equation of X on Y as Height = b₀ + b₁*Weight

Here, The regression equation Height =25.32 + 033*Weight shows that the if weight increases by 1 pound then mean increase of height in 8 children will be 0.33.
