50% = 0.50 1

40% = 0.40 2

10% = 0.10 3

Mean number of students per financial support households in the region

z. * P(x)-1+0.50 + 2 * 0.40 + 0.10 * 3-1.6

Therefore, the mean number of student per financial household in the region are approximately 2.
