Answer #1

Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus infection is difficult to treat So, it's better to prevent these types of infection. In a Hospital setting, MRSA can spread patient to patient by cross-infection. To prevent cross-infection barrier method is very effective.

Hand washing, Using PPE(Gloves, Gown, Mask, etc) and proper disposal of treatment-related waste is included in the barrier method and very necessary to prevent cross-infection.

ANSWER

1. Double-bag soiled dressings in polyethylene bags.

To prevent the spreading of MRSA nurse manager should use double-bag soiled dressings in polyethylene bags, and dispose of it safely. Because wound dressing materials contain a high amount of MRSA bacteria that are capable of spreading infection.

polyethylene bags are necessary because dressing material contains body fluids that can be leaked in paper bags.
