Answer #1

Kubler-Rush was an American psychiatrist, who gave the theory of death and dying in 1969. The theory has 5 stages(Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance). In this theory, they explained the mental stages of dying people.

The first stage is denial. In this stage, the person is not able to accept the reality that he/she going to die. The person believes that there may be some mistake or confusion. At any cost, he/she is not accepting reality.

In the anger stage, the person becomes very angry after knowing the truth or after accepting reality. The person thinks that why I am going to suffer this or why it is happing with mine only.

In the bargaining stage, a person tries to bargain at least something from nothing. the person still has hope here that he can still do something. As an example, a critically ill person wants to live some more days and the person can change his/her lifestyle totally for this bargaining.

Depression is the fourth stage in this theory, after knowing everything the person is depressed. He/she is now unsocialized and wants to live alone.

Acceptance is the last stage of this model. The person is now ready for the consequences because he/she is very well known that this can not be changed and there is no hope left.

In my opinion, It's not necessary that everyone will go through all the stages, there is no proven research on the sequence and existence of these five stages.
