Cost if switches are purchased = 8,000*35 = 280,000

Cost if switches are made

= (7+6+5)*8,000 + 50,000 + 50,000 + rent (4,000*12 months) = 292,000

So, if company makes the switches, cost will be higher by 12,000

(280,000-292,000)
