BJ Miller in his inspiring video gives a fresh and challenging approach to health care. He suggests that life be lived to the fullest and in terms of terminally ill patients it's about living each moment. He believes hospitals are places for acute trauma and treatable illness, they are no places to live and die. They are not designed for it. He believes that beauty can be found anywhere and advocates that patients should be given the freedom to opt for the life they want. Sometimes sensuous aesthetic gratification where in a moment we are rewarded for just being the core. Well being should be the aim of health care.It should be about making life wonderful. We need a shift, from a disease centred to a patient centred model of care, making space to allow life to play out all way out.
