The biggest takeaway was to understand how important it is to adapt to the culture from your own culture and more importantly without yourself giving in. The fact that you can adapt to another culture, the Global Dexterity, and be authentic at the same time was the major takeaway.

The term - "Zone of Appropriateness" was quite surprising for me. It was surprising to understand how can you find the range of behaviour and how can you quantify it. But as he explained, it was quite easy to understand what he meant. But, at first, it was quite surprising to understand it.

The most alarming thing for me was the fact that a person can lose himself/herself, in order to adapt themselves in a new culture. This is quite alarming because a lot of leaders and employees or organizations, do not understand it consequences to their lives.
