Total units to be administered is 57 (50 units of NPH and 7 units of regular insulin.)

NPH is cloudy and regular insulin is clear. So we should draw clear insulin before cloudy and should administer within 5 minutes to avoid mixing up.

Thus, first inject 50 units of air into NPH and withdraw needle from the vial. Then inject 7 units of air into regular insulin and withdraw medicine from the vial. Afterthat, again inject needle into the vial of NPH and you can withdraw 50 units of NPH. And total 57 units of insulin.
