Improving the quality of health care is becoming a national priority . In today's world ,everyone wants to be well informed about all things , wants everything should be done by a single touch ,fashion is changing , along with this improvement or upgradation in the healthcare field is very essential or otherwise it will not succeed. There are government regulations and also market forces for improving quality of care .

The relative merits of using government regulations versus market forces in improving quality are:-

- government is the soul of nation ,it knows about the requirement and the changes needed to be done for the welfare of its citizens .

- easy flow of the resources for making the improvement

- conitiniuity in the provision of care

- it plays an important role in making the amendment in the policies for the improvement .

- it takes the responsibility for the services it provides

- Easy availability of funds to run the function .
