Healthcare is the second fastest growing sector of the U.S economy,and nursing is the largest occupation within the industry,with more than 2.4 million jobs and the highest project growth.as noted in recent reports by the intennational council of nursing and the institute of medicine,one of the reasons for the current and future shortage of nurses related to the work environment.Improving the environment in which nurses work may attract new students to nursing as well as engage current professional in developing innovative models of care delivery that will help retain and nature future generations of nurses.Most important,iimproving the work environment may also improve the quality and safety of patient care.

Safety and health care

Patients should be confident that the care they are receiving is safe.central government stimulates care provider and care professional to improve safety in the healthcare environment.

Patients safety

Mistakes by care professional or shortcoming in the healthcare system can cause unintended physical and /or mental damage to patients.

Patients safety is a priority for the ministerof health,walfare and sport,Care provider and care professional are responsible for safe , patient- centered ,good quality care

2.Continuous quality improvement is a concept which include:Quality -assurance--the provision of services that meet an appropriate standard.Problem resolution--including all departments involved in the issue at hand . Quality improvement -- a continuous process involving all levels of the organization working together across department lines to produce better service for health care clients. Deming (1982b)and other have espoused total system reform to achieve quality improvement---not merely altering the current system,but redically changing it .It must be assumed that those who provide services at the staff level are acting in good faith and are not willfully failing to do what is correct (Berwick,1991).Those who perform direct service are in an excellent position to identify the need for change in service delivery processes.Based on this permise ,the staff nurse---who is as the hearth of the system--is the best person to access the status of health care services and to work towards improving the processes by which these services are provided to clients in the healthcare settings.
