Answer #1

1) Patient %oxygen saturation will decrease when partial pressure of oxygen is decreased from 100 mmhg to 90 mm Hg. This will happen more probably the patient suffers from hypoxia. Type of hypoxia is histotoxic hypoxia. Oxygen carrying capacity of blood will decrease.

2) Percentage saturation would decrease further when partial pressure of oxygen reduced to 100 mm Hg. Most probably condition are - stagnant hypoxia. Condition in which blood flow to tissue is so low that adequate oxygen is not delivered.

3) from the previous two questions it confirm that when there is decrease in partial pressure of oxygen then percentage saturation of oxygen or Hb will decrease.

percent saturation of Hb or oxygen decreased, main reason is hypoxia. There are many types of hypoxia like hypoxic, anaemic, stagnant, histotoxic hypoxia. Here basically are histotoxic and stagnant hypoxia. In both condition the oxygen carrying capacity of blood decreased.
